I began drawing as a hobby when I was over 60.

After retiring from my career, I began pursuing drawing as a hobby. Subsequently,

I transitioned into a full-time career as a writer. Over the course of my extensive professional journey,

I had the privilege of traveling to numerous foreign countries.

These experiences have heightened my appreciation for the treasures we possess,

such as our rich cultural heritage, formidable landscapes, and our strong ethical values.

I have come to realize the profound beauty and value of these aspects,

and they have become a wellspring of inspiration for my artistic endeavors.

In this era of globalization, I am dedicated to blending our traditional culture with contemporary influences,

thereby forging a path to innovative creative work.

While I initially focused on physical mediums like oil and acrylic paintings,

my recent work has been predominantly digital in nature.

I strive to infuse vitality into my creations by leveraging a diverse array of digital tools to introduce motion

and dynamism. Furthermore, I meld elements of the physical and digital realms,

seamlessly integrating traditional Eastern painting techniques and folk art with modern color palettes

and expressive methods.

Through this amalgamation of influences,

I am proud to be at the forefront of a vibrant and exhilarating realm of artistic exploration.

직장에서 은퇴 후 취미활동을 위해서 그림을 시작한것이 계기가 되어
전업작가의 길로 들어섰습니다.
오랜기간 직장생활을 하면서 해외의 많은 나라들을 여행하는 기회가 있었습니다.
금수강산 그리고 우리의 미풍양속 등 우리가 가지고 있는것들이
아름답고 소중하다는 것을 깨닫고 경험속에서 영감을 얻고있습니다.
전통적인 우리의 문화와 글로벌 시대를 살고있는 현재를 아울러서
새로운 작품세계를 열어가고 있습니다.
유화나 아크릴화 등 피지컬로 시작했지만 최근은 디지털 작업을 더 많이 하고 있습니다.
다양한 디지털의 기능을 이용해서 움직임을 넣는 등 생동감있는 작품을 시도하고 있으며 
또한 피지컬과 디지털의 혼합, 전통적인 동양화, 민화 등 에 현대적인 색채와 표현방법을 
혼합하여 새롭고 재미도 있는 작품세계를 열어가고있습니다.
